Bio

Carlos Santana Arévalo was born in Los Angeles, CA and raised in Rialto, CA. As a solo musician and as a primary songwriter and collaborator for Los Angeles band Chicano Batman, Carlos has worked on records with a diverse group of artists, producers, and engineers that include: Tyla, Damiano David, Suki Waterhouse, Nile Rogers, John Hill, Leon Michels, John Congleton, Sammy Witte, Money Mark Ramos Nishita, Shawn Everett, Jens Jungkurth, Kennie Takahashi, Angélica Garcia, Helado Negro, Sparta (Jim Ward), É Arenas and more.

Carlos’ guitar playing, production, and songwriting has appeared in releases by Sony Music, A24, Partisan Records, ATO Records, 4AD, and Dine Alone Records.

Sync music and tv/film projects include work with PBS, Ford, Johnnie Walker, Adobe, This Fool, Red White & Royal Blue, Outer Banks, Mayans, And Just Like That…, Resident Alien, Don’t Make Me Go, On Two Fronts: Latinos & Vietnam, and Carlos Almaraz: Playing with Fire.
